Mission Statement

The Language Studio is dedicated to supporting the teaching and learning of foreign languages at the University of Florida through multimedia resources, technology, and collaborative learning environments. We work closely with language faculty to create and provide audio, visual, and computer-based materials that help students access immersive language-learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

The Language Studio serves as a bridge between faculty, students, and language programs, promoting language immersion, intercultural understanding, and appreciation for the cultures of the world. We strive to foster global awareness, cultural exchange, and unity within the UF community while supporting both classroom instruction and independent language study.

The Language Studio, located in Turlington Hall 1317, also serves as a shared resource and collaborative space for UF language departments, centers, and institutes. It is part of the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences and receives computing support from CLAS IT.
